Community Walking Leader Training
As part of the Let’s Get Kerry Walking Campaign, the Irish Heart Foundation Community Walking Leader Training was delivered at the end of February 2012. Attached is a photo of all the Walking Leaders who participated in the training. These voluntary leaders are currently working on establishing walking groups/initiatives within their communities, all in an effort of getting more people walking more! Over the coming months our local newspaper, Kerrys Eye, will be featuring these group. These volunteers are doing GREAT work within their communities.
